Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are excited to announce several new food and beverage offerings for Summerfest 2010.
Sazama’s Lakeside Grille, a new addition in 2010, located on the north end of the M&I Classic Rock Stage with Fiduciary Management, NYCE, Miller Lite and Oldies 95.7, will offer sit-down table service for the first time on the Summerfest grounds. Sazama’s Lakeside Grille will feature an assortment of delicious appetizers, steak, poultry and seafood entrees and desserts, a variety of wines and gorgeous lakeshore views.
Rupena’s, a new vendor in the Miller Lite Oasis area, will feature several signature items including Spit Roasted Chicken, a grilled Tenderloin Steak Sandwich, Hungarian Sausage Sandwich, made to order Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers, Roasted Chicken Wrap, Caprese Panini Appetizer, along with Sweet Potato Fries and regular French Fries. Rupena’s will also offer a selection of Seattle’s Best coffee specialty products including Seattle’s Best Coffee, Espresso, Lattes, Cappuccino and Mochas.
Saz’s Express II, also new to the M&I Classic Rock area, will serve Saz’s famous signature items such as Mozzarella Marinara and Saz’s popular Combo as well as new foods like Jumbo Bratwurst on a Pretzel Bun, Memphis Style BBQ Pork Sandwich and a Milwaukee Style Fish Fry. Saz’s will also introduce the new Jumbo Bratwurst Sandwich to their location in the Miller Lite Oasis.
Pitch’s will introduce the Pork “Wing”, pork shoulder meat on a bone served with barbeque sauce and homemade potato chips.
Charcoal Grill will expand their offerings to include three new items, the Brat Burger, “The Sheboygan” which will pair together a brat patty and a burger and Sweet Potato Fries. Charcoal Grill can be found in the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse with Miller Genuine Draft area.
Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream will introduce Cookie Sandwiches in flavors like Cookie Crumb Yum, Cake Batter Sprinkle and Kiss N’ Tell Chocolate.
Mader’s will offer German Nachos, made of homemade chips topped with corn beef, white cheese sauce, scallions, tomatoes and jalapenos.
Peter Sciortino’s Bakery will now serve Gloria Jean’s flavored coffee and Chocolate Chip and Sugar Cookies.
Ultimate Confections Café will tempt taste buds with Warm Cherry Crisp. In addition, as part of the Café, new beverages – Turtle Mochas, Grasshopper Mochas and Boston Lattes – will be served.
NEW BEVERAGES
Patrons will be able to quench their thirst with a wide assortment of new beverages at Summerfest.
Auntie Anne’s, in the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage area and Martino’s, Marcus Amphitheater locations will feature Siberian Chill, a new Pepsi product. Siberian Chill flavors will include Mocha Cappuccino and Blue Raspberry Slush.
Bella Café will feature Alterra products along with Strawberry Banana and Mango Smoothies to their beverage lineup in 2010.
Sparks Lemon Stinger, a new premium malt beverage with a tart lemonade taste will be sold at THECOOLTV Rock Stage with Miller Lite and JoJo’s Martini Lounge with Miller Lite.
Lakefront Brewery will introduce an American red ale, Fixed Gear to their current offerings. Fixed Gear has a hearty, malty body that is complimented with a balanced blend of hop flavors.
Praire Fume from Wollersheim Winery, located in Prarie du Sac, Wisconsin, will be available throughout the Marcus Amphitheater.
Also new in 2010, Yellow Tail Wines and Domaine Ste. Michelle Champagne will be poured at selected sites throughout the Summerfest grounds.
SPECIAL DATES
For the second consecutive year, Summerfest will host the World’s Largest Happy Hour on Wednesday, June 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Summerfest attendees will receive $1.00 off all alcoholic beverages and any 20 oz. soda or water product during the World’s Largest Happy Hour!
Special food and beverage discounts will again be offered on Children’s Fest Day on Monday, June 28 from Noon – 3:00 pm.
